Enlightement Part 4: Perspective

For perspective:

Do I think I am saying anything new or revolutionary?

Nope.

How could I be when:

Thousands of religions exist
Tens of thousand spiritual teachers are alive and helping
Countless writings and previous poets pondered life.

So the question becomes:

Why do we try?
Why scribble and scratch about as chickens amidst the feed?

All these posts are:
Scribbles of thoughts as I meander each day.
Personal road markers for perspective.

The answer weaves out as:

A Taoist takes anything they write or say lightly.

As I keep pointing out.

It's never about the answers.

What Taoist's take seriously is embracing the moment in wonder.

Thats exactly what each of these posts represents

A moment of wonder in pondering.

After the posting, these blog entries are just as cherry petals in the breeze...

Blowing onwards and away upon the ground,
as the grass continues to grow up and out
from a pink blanket of spring

Very very few will take the petals in as compost for growth.
Possibly a few will look at the various posts and smile.

For myself

I enjoy the wonder in the moment each post represents...

Then to continue to tumble in the breeze.

Wisdom and Secrets of the Universe

Wisdom is an interesting thing,

It's like exercise. just because one might know secrets of the universe and such doesn't change the fact:

You still have to work at living each day.

PS... The universe doesn't have any secrets.

Back to exercising my life out and about...

Where you are...

It's never a question of where you are.

Some days waking up, liking the person we are:
to be where we want to be.

Some days not liking our selves:
reflecting as not being happy in where we are.

It's sooo easy to try to move , to run , to shift...
when sooo often
It's simply about the patience to be oneself freely.

Be free, be yourself.

Peace

The Wind of Our Nature

How do I express the thousand feelings bouncing around me right now?

On one hand: the excesses and greed of modern society being painful to watch

On one hand: I am so very joyful in simply being myself.

On one hand: Reaching out to just help another person.

On one hand: Working a job without love.

On one hand: Supporting those I do love.

On one hand: Just living, not worrying about anything except this moment.

On one hand: Realizing I only have two hands yet, my hands seem everywhere

On one hand: Pondering juggling thoughts 5, 10, 20 and 30 years old: all these ideas weaving together as I riddle out the answers about magic and nature.

On one hand: Just sipping some warm green tea.

to living as living in living
one moment at a time
to the whims

of the wind.

----------------------------------------

somehow all this made me feel better

I can be the wind
ever tightly spiraling
etching eroding out
aspects of my nature.

Its never easy to be yourself is it?

and here is a secret, ready?

people live through the hard times on purpose
to give time to the forces of nature
to erode away and reveal
the inner beauty of who we are.

I was not born to be absent

My brother' band: Two loons for Tea is something I love to watch grow over time. One of his songs: Looking for landmarks has the following line which I just love:

I was not born to be absent
breathe , just breathe

Much luck bro as your new album unfolds to the world!!

Of our own empty space

a new book

As I sit here, I am also revising my book's text. Strangely It keeps getting simplier and shorter.

Then I had this realization: I could write the whole book in a single word:

"Live"

And thats it...

Feels strange I spent 40 years to write a book of a single word...

:)
