Embracing the Wind, Dancing under the Moon

Jet engines
Push
A steel gray night
Twilight

An illuminated moon
Biting the clouds

The colors do the speaking
Fading sun pushing pink to space
Ice white moon
puncturing
Darkening blue -sea blue- sky

Riding over
Clouds
Tearing the peace of blue

-- Soon to descend --
But for this moment alone
It's the moon's light
That keeps me high above the sky
Tonight

I wrote this poem in a hanging moment in the sky,
alone with the moon and myself
similar in tone to this photo.

A great shot showing
To explore space,
Is to dance upon the clouds of our dreams.

To be ourselves is to go beyond
Merely dancing upon the ground.

Dare to embrace the wind.
Be lifted to go beyond the moon.

Peace

Casey!

While you might not believe it, I have found myself a muse :)

One of the most inspiring girls I've ever met (I think and yes, I'm still rational about this :D). I'll update you with a picture, although she's also on my Myspace (search for 'Elke').

I want to share some poems with you too, but they're written in dutch, so that might pose a little problem :D

Nice poem.

I went to your other site. The one you recomended for my midlife crisis. Very interesting read. Thanks

Bert: Glad to hear you are exploring new relationships. Hope it opens new doors and ideas for you to explore!

Doragon: Hi :) thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy exploring. Never ever any easy answers when being yourself, as it's something we have to make up on the fly each moment as we embrace ourselves and life. Once realizing its about being oneself truly.. strangely it all becomes a little easier ...

Well, it believe I'm ready for it. I've been deliberately single for over 2 years and I would lie if I'd say I didn't miss anyone in my life I could wish sweet dreams and a good night sleep or that should wake next to me in the morning. Maybe I'm all to romantic about this, but hey, I'm raised by a woman, so forgive me for my overdose of female hormones ;)

But I try to keep in mind what you say about a muse, although we differ from opinion, you know I always keep yours as valuable

This poem is delicious.. the imagery supreme. Is there a place where your poems are all together?

HI Sharon

Some of my poetry is in the book A Personal Tao

You can download it for free or read it online at A Personal Tao site.

>You can also read some of my poems

On the Personal Tao site.

Most of my other poetry is slowly collecting on my hard drive like dust, nothing special other a personal journal as I explore about. Most of the better poems which seem to want to jump off the page so to speak are on the site or in the book.

If you ever get a chance I highly recommend going to a poetry slam. I use to slam, and spoken word poetry is in my heart as being very special indeed.

I appreciate the compliment :)

sincerely

Casey
